Construction in Zones 1 and 4 of the three-zone sanitary sewer and water pipe replacement project commenced the week of July 9, 2007, in the Holiday Colony area (Zone 4). Weekly progress meetings, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the 2nd Floor BZP Conference Room, are open to the public.
Installation of replacement water pipes will precede placement of the new sanitary sewer mains and pipes. Affected residents will receive at least two notices of construction in the form of lime green-colored door hangers.
- The first notice will give approximate dates of excavation and pipe installation in the area, and will be delivered 2-5 days in advance. Residents are advised that the work will temporarily block access to sections of the street or individual driveways.
- The second notice will give the dates and approximate hours during which water service to a home may be disrupted.
